Ranch Dressing

1 & 1/2 cup Best foods mayonnaise

1/4 to 1/3 cup buttermilk

1 cup sour cream

1/2 teaspoon dried chives

1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed

1/3 cup cider or white vinegar best w/ white wine vinegar

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon Corse black pepper


In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream,
butter milk, chives, parsley, dill,
whisk separately garlic powder & onion powder,
salt and pepper and a tablespoon of water w/ the
vinegar add to the May-O & mix all together.
Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.

THE BEST SALSAS are those you make to suit your own taste,

as hot or as mild Chiles as you like. Adjust the amount of onion,

pepper, and lime or lemon juice to taste. Serve with corn chips.


  • 3 to 4 dead-ripe, medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 to 4 dead-ripe, medium tomatillos, chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped sweet onion or scallions
  • 1 to 2 chopped jalapeno or serrano chile peppers
  • 1 8oz Tomato Sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons fresh lime or lemon juice

COMBINE the tomatoes, onion, peppers, cilantro, salt, and lime juice in a serving dish. Stir well and let sit at room temperature for at least 2 hours before serving. Serves 4 to 6.
